Project Summary
The project began with a logo concept the client had created using AI as a starting point. Rather than refining the existing design, I explored a completely new creative direction that better reflected the warmth, professionalism, and trust at the heart of the Dyscypher brand.

Every logo starts with exploration, and for Dyscypher, I began by sketching a wide range of concepts, exploring different ways to represent the brand that felt warm, approachable, and professional. Many of the early ideas focused on the relationship between the ‘d’ and ‘p’, using subtle reversals and mirrored forms to acknowledge these challenges without making them the defining feature of the identity.
As the concepts developed, it became clear that the strongest solution was a typography-led wordmark rather than a standalone symbol. This led to creating a more approachable, less clinical identity while allowing the brand to remain distinctive, memorable, and accessible. These sketches offer a glimpse into the creative process behind the final design, showing how exploring multiple directions helps uncover the strongest solution.
The completed identity was supplied in a wide range of formats, alongside a brand guide to ensure consistency across future marketing materials.

From there, I advised on domain registration and hosting before designing and building a bespoke WordPress website. Using the client’s initial content as a foundation, I expanded the copy, suggested additional pages to improve the user journey, and structured the website around the needs of prospective clients and parents looking for information and support.
Ahead of a planned professional photoshoot scheduled for a later date, I created a photography moodboard to establish a clear visual direction and produced a bespoke hero image by integrating the client into carefully selected stock photography, allowing the website to launch with imagery that felt both personal and on-brand.
To ensure the site launched on a strong technical footing, I implemented basic on-page SEO, optimised page performance using Google PageSpeed recommendations, and advised on suitable booking plugins to support future online appointment scheduling. I also designed and built a bespoke enquiry form using Contact Form 7, creating fully branded HTML email templates for both Dyscypher and prospective clients. This ensures every enquiry generates professional, consistent communications from the very first interaction.
The project continues beyond launch with the design of supporting print materials, including business cards, to create a consistent brand experience across digital and offline touchpoints.
